During the Fives season from September to May, we play every Wednesday evening in term-time from 7.00 to 9.30pm at St Paul’s School in Barnes.
Term dates for the rest of 2017 mean that club nights end in the first week of July, but our regular sessions are expected to kick off again in the first week of September.
There’s no set format, so everyone just turns up and mucks in: singles, doubles, whatever – although, let’s be honest, there’s a lot more doubles than anything else! Anyway, the long and short of it is just turn up and enjoy as many or as few – as hard or as easy – games as you like. Full changing, showering and toilet facilities are available on site, and the six indoor courts (inside the main school sports centre) are wonderfully warm throughout the year.
And, if you want to make sure you never have a wasted journey to Barnes, email Club President Andy Pringle, who will put you on the club mailing list. An email will go out every Wednesday morning ahead of that evening’s session, allowing club member to let everyone else know if and when they’ll be on court.
